In case you missed the WalkMe™ Realize keynote earlier this week, here's the announcement:

WalkMe is launching WalkMe-X -- the world's first context-aware AI copilot.

Here's the idea:

1. Surface the right guidance in-app at the right moment without prompting
2. Available to every employee regardless of skill
3. Provide tailored next steps for the user's immediate goal.

How does it do this? 

At a high-level, WalkMe-X:
1. Knows the user
2. Knows their role
3. Knows the application
4. Sees the context of the screen
5. Has your “company policies” about the app

Put all this technology together and WalkMe-X guides the user through what they need to do.

This is how companies need to be thinking about AI.

Not about licensing some ChatGPT-like general search interface.
But augmenting what employees are already doing -- weaving in targeted employee assistance that is Gen-AI based on their own company-internal knowledge bases...
