Macro-Level Planning for WalkMe Programs

planning

Google Calendar is useless for macro-level planning.

If you're going to stay on top of your WalkMe deployment, you have to think and plan LONG RANGE.

-- Planned communication to leadership and stakeholders

-- IT Budgeting Processes

-- System Release Schedules

-- User Feedback / WalkMe Development Initiatives

-- Cloud releases like Salesforce which forces QA 3x / year

This is hard landscape stuff you block out at the week level so you see it coming.

Minor detail.

Ever try going to a year in Google Calendar?

It's literally just the dates.

I'm sorry, does no one look beyond this week anymore?

Know what I use to handle this?

Excel.

Just rows for the key activities and columns for the weeks / months / quarters.

Yeah, it's not going to push notifications to your phone.

But you can see the whole year at a glance.

What am I missing?

What do you use for macro-level annual planning?
